Leak Detector Recertification Details

The Operator’s Certification issued by the manufacturer (Training and Services Corp.) you hold to perform Compliance Testing using the TSC 1000 Leak Detector expires every 2 years. We receive a number of requests from various regulatory organizations for listings of currently Certified Operators; therefore, it is critical you recertify when you receive notification of the date of expiration. The Recertification packet can be requested on our website under the Recertification tab. Just send us your information via this mode, and Our VP of Operations, Mystie Brady, will email the packet to you outlining the testing procedure. It may be emailed back once completed. To date, it will not have to be notarized due Covid complications as requested in the packet as we know finding a notary during the Pandemic may be difficult. Post Covid, this process will be reinstated. We will keep you informed of these changes on our site. Payment will need to be made by check or credit card before the recertification will be emailed back to you. As soon as payment is received, and you pass the recertification test, Mystie will email you your Recertification certificate back. Please print the certificate for your records to ensure that you continue to meet all the State, Local, and Federal requirements for precision testing of product delivery lines if you are planning to continue to provide this service. The cost of the recertification is $350. Payment can either be mailed by check to the address listed on our site prior to the test being taken or can be processed securely the same day by Square with an additional 3.5% processing fee. Please email Mystie at brady@trainingandservices.com if you prefer the credit card payment method. If you need additional information for recertification or have questions concerning this, please do not hesitate to contact us at 281-934-3839.

Training seminars and subsequent initial Certification for new employees can be obtained at our facility in Houston, or you can obtain a certification taking one of our virtual online classes through Zoom.

This training meets Federal and Manufacturer standards to operate the TSC 1000 Leak Detector Test System. In correlation, The Leak Detector performs a test that produces a precision leak to test if the Leak Detector on lines is working properly. The Leak Detector Test is required annually by Federal Standards according to The Clean Water Act and Texas Standard 30 TAC 334.50.
